Antibiotics usage guidelines

Antibiotics known as chemotherapy against bacteria. There are many antibiotics usage guidelines launched by either private hospitals, public hospitals, divisions or department to treat infectious diseases. There are many ways to develop an antibiotics usage guidelines, such as adaptation from other developed guidelines from other center, empirical usage of antibiotics and develop according to local pattern of susceptibility test of antibiotics to causing agent. In many centers in Indonesia almost all antibiotics usage guidelines is developed through adaptation. What clinical microbiologist can do about this?
